Biotecnología Vegetal is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal that publishes original and unpublished articles in Spanish and English on a quarterly basis. Founded and published since 2000 by the Instituto de Biotecnología de las Plantas, de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas, at Santa Clara, Cuba.

Mission: to publish original and unpublished scientific results related to the use of agrobiotechnologies in basic and applied research, innovations and the training of professionals in this field.

The abbreviated title of the journal is: Biot. Veg. It should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic legends

The content of the journal is aimed to scientists, students, specialists and professionals in general who work on topics related to agrobiotechnologies.

Los The manuscripts received are subject to a double blind peer review process by members of the Editorial Committee and other external reviewers. The publication is free of charge for all types of manuscripts.
