Transformación is a scientific journal published by the Department of Pedagogical Scientific Information of the Scientific Information Division of the University of Camagüey. Its mission is stimulating, disseminating and developing the original scientific knowledge generated by national and foreign scholars in the fields of pedagogical sciences and its innumerable points of contact with other social sciences, by publishing original articles, which present primary information and findings resulting from research that make significant and novel contributions to the content of pedagogical sciences, to the theoretical debate in this field or contributing to systematize previous knowledge, in an original and developmental way, or manage to identify theoretical failures in the state of the art.
The papers should be original scientific texts or recapitulative studies, although the first ones are privileged. Open Journals Systems (OJS) software is used as a platform for the management, evaluation, and publication of the originals.
The magazine is published since 2005 and appears nowadays with a quarterly frequency.
