La mejora en el suministro de información contable conlleva, sin duda, una mayor eficiencia en las organizaciones, permitiéndoles alcanzar más fácilmente sus objetivos. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el sistema actual de registro contable de las asociaciones españolas dedicadas al fomento de la salud en adultos mayores. Para esto se han analizado todas las normas de relevancia relacionadas con la gestión contable de tales asociaciones, y se han comparado las disposiciones del actual Plan General de Contabilidad de 2007 con las del antiguo de 1990, para comprobar si la adaptación sectorial de 1998 ha quedado obsoleta o si existen algunas discrepancias entre las dos disposiciones mencionadas anteriormente. También, obviamente, se ha estudiado la normativa contable internacional aplicable (NIC/NIIF). El estudio permite comprobar que el actual Plan General de Contabilidad de 2007 supone cambios de gran relevancia respecto a la información contable de las asociaciones de fomento de la salud en adultos mayores, por lo cual la antigua adaptación sectorial de 1998 queda obsoleta y debería ser actualizada.

The improvement in the supply of accounting information undoubtedly leads to greater efficiency in organizations, allowing them to more easily achieve their objectives. The objective of this article is to analyze the current accounting record system of Spanish associations dedicated to the promotion of health in the elderly. For this, all the relevant standards related to the accounting management of such associations have been analyzed, and the provisions of the current 2007 General Accounting Plan have been compared with those of the old 1990 Plan, to check whether the sectoral adaptation of 1998 is obsolete or if there are some discrepancies between the two provisions mentioned above. Obviously, the applicable international accounting regulations (NIC/IFRS) have also been studied. The study makes it possible to verify that the current General Accounting Plan for 2007 involves changes of great relevance with respect to the accounting information of associations for the promotion of health in old age, for which the old sectoral adaptation of 1998 is obsolete and should be updated.

The mechanical properties of the human body actions. Its manifestation in aikido techniques

Los movimientos de las partes del cuerpo humano son desplazamientos en el espacio y el tiempo, que se ejecutan en muchas articulaciones simultánea y consecutivamente. Precisamente el Aikido se caracteriza por provocar la pérdida del equilibrio y el derribo de un oponente mediante el accionar sobre las articulaciones. Atendiendo a esto, se concibe este trabajo dirigido a ofrecer una oportuna explicación sobre el accionar de los diferentes miembros que componen el cuerpo humano y su incidencia en una correcta ejecución técnica en aikido. Cuestiones de gran interés como: las uniones de los miembros, las cadenas cinemáticas, los grados de libertad de los movimientos y las particularidades dinámicas de los movimientos humanos; así como aspectos distintivos del equilibrio, tanto estático como dinámico son tratados en el presente trabajo con adecuada sencillez y precisión.

The parts of the human body movements are movements in space and time, running in many joints simultaneously and consecutively. Aikido is precisely characterized by cause the loss of balance and the demolition of an opponent through the actions applied to the joints. Attending this is conceived this work aimed to offer a timely explanation of the actions of the different members that make up the human body and its impact in a proper technical execution in aikido. Issues of great interest such as: the joints of the limbs, kinematic chains, the degrees of freedom of movement and dynamic peculiarities of the human movements; as well as distinctive balance, both static and dynamic aspects are dealt with in the present work with appropriate simplicity and precision.

Applications of cell replacement therapies to the treatment of poly-glutamine diseases

Se realizó una revisión de la literatura especializada con el objetivo de evaluar el estado del arte en cuanto a la aplicación de terapias de reemplazo celular en enfermedades poliglutamínicas. Se consultaron las bases de datos HighWire y PubMed, con el uso de descriptores y operadores booleanos. Se recuperaron 84 artículos sobre la temática, publicados en revistas con un factor de impacto promedio de 5,42. Se discuten los estudios experimentales y pre-clínicos realizados con relación a terapias de reemplazo celular en enfermedades poliglutamínicas. Se demuestra la efectividad del uso de células madre de distintas fuentes en el mejoramiento de la función motora en modelos experimentales de enfermedades poliglutamínicas. Se revela la necesidad de realizar estudios multicéntricos a mediano y largo plazos, para la evaluación de los efectos terapéuticos de las terapias de reemplazo celular en enfermedades poliglutamínicas.

A review of the specialized literature was carried out with the aim of evaluating the state of the art regarding the application of cell replacement therapies in polyglutamine diseases. The HighWire and PubMed databases were consulted, with the use of Boolean descriptors and operators. 84 articles were retrieved on the subject, published in journals with an average impact factor of 5.42. The experimental and pre-clinical studies carried out in relation to cell replacement therapies in polyglutamine diseases are discussed. The effectiveness of the use of stem cells from different sources in the improvement of motor function in experimental models of polyglutamine diseases is demonstrated. The need to perform multicenter studies in the medium and long term is revealed, for the evaluation of the therapeutic effects of cell replacement therapies in polyglutamine diseases.

Qualitative Research: Emic-Etic Approach

El presente documento, es un ensayo reflexivo cuyo objetivo es analizar la "Investigación Cualitativa desde el enfoque Emic-Etic". Para ello, se exploran los conceptos de investigación cualitativa y la relación con los términos Emic y Etic, así como, la importancia de la misma en el quehacer científico del investigador. Se utilizó la investigación documental exhaustiva, para el análisis hermenéutico de diversas publicaciones científicas relacionadas con la temática de estudio. Se concluye, que la investigación cualitativa sustenta su visión metodológica en base al enfoque Emic-Etic, donde interactúan las versiones y opiniones de los participantes y el investigador respecto a los hechos y fenómenos de estudio, para construir la realidad de manera cooperativa.

This document is a reflexive essay whose objective is to analyze the "Qualitative Research from the Emic-Etic approach". For this, the concepts of qualitative research and the relation with the terms Emic and Etic are explored, as well as the importance of the same in the scientific work of the researcher. We used exhaustive documentary research for the hermeneutic analysis of various scientific publications related to the subject of study. It is concluded that the qualitative research supports its methodological vision based on the Emic-Etic approach, where the versions and opinions of the participants and the researcher interact with respect to the facts and phenomena of study, to construct reality in a cooperative way.
