^les^aSe presenta una propuesta de diccionario de la bibliotecología cubana. Se introduce el tema con la fundamentación de la necesidad e importancia de confeccionar un repertorio que registre personalidades, instituciones, asociaciones y publicaciones vinculadas con la actividad de información. Se explican detalladamente los criterios de selección tomados en cuenta en la metodología del trabajo. Además, se presenta el diccionario que se propone, con una muestra representativa de biografías ordenadas alfabéticamente y con una bibliografía al final de cada asiento.^len^aA proposal for publishing a Cuban library science dictionary is made. The topic is introduced by explaining the need and importance of having a repertory of personalities, institutions, associations and publications linked with the information activity. The selection criteria taken into account in the working methodology are dealt with in detail. Besides, the dictionary is presented with a representative sample of biographies in alphabetical order and with a bibliography at the end of each entry.
