^les^aOBJETIVO: Analizar el comportamiento de la Lista nacional de Toxicología. MÉTODO: Se estudió el contenido, el número promedio mensual de mensajes enviados y la distribución de los suscriptores de acuerdo con las instituciones donde laboran y sus provincias de procedencia. Se realizó una búsqueda manual en el servidor de la lista para identificar las provincias e instituciones donde radican los suscriptores. Se clasificaron los mensajes según su contenido para el análisis estadístico. RESULTADOS: Durante sus 18 meses de existencia, se suscribieron a la lista 75 participantes. Ellos proceden de 36 instituciones del país, distribuidas en 12 regiones de las 15 en que se divide políticamente el país. La provincia con mayor número de suscriptores fue Ciudad de La Habana (48,0%). La circularon alcanzó 157 mensajes, el promedio mensual fue de 9. Los mensajes con solicitudes de información bibliográfica fueron los más frecuentes 59 (37,5%), seguidos de información para la superación 38 (24,2%) y de los comentarios generales 18 (11,4%). CONCLUSIÓN: El uso de la lista es insuficiente. Es necesario activar y estimular el debate entre los suscriptores de la lista, para no desaprovechar este puente de comunicación, puesto a su servicio.^len^aAIM: To analyze the National List on Toxicology. METHOD: The content, mean monthly number of sent messages and the distribution of subscribers taking into account workplace and provinces were studied. A manual search was carried out at the list server to identify the subscribers provinces and institutions. The messages were classify to carry out the statistical analysis. RESULTS: 75 participants were subscribed to the list during a period of 18 months. They were from 36 institutions distributed among 12 of the 15 political regions in which the country is divided. The highest number of subcribers were from Havana City (48,0%). The circulation reached 157 messages. The monthly mean number of messages was 9. The bibliogrphical request were the most frequent, 59 (37,5%), then follow the educational information, 38 (24,2%) and general comments, 18 (11,4%). CONCLUSION: The use of the list is insufficient. The debate among subscribers should be encouraged to provide a better use of this bridge of communication.
