AIM: To analyze the National List on Toxicology. METHOD: The content, mean monthly number of sent messages and the distribution of subscribers taking into account workplace and provinces were studied. A manual search was carried out at the list server to identify the subscribers provinces and institutions. The messages were classify to carry out the statistical analysis. RESULTS: 75 participants were subscribed to the list during a period of 18 months. They were from 36 institutions distributed among 12 of the 15 political regions in which the country is divided. The highest number of subcribers were from Havana City (48,0%). The circulation reached 157 messages. The monthly mean number of messages was 9. The bibliogrphical request were the most frequent, 59 (37,5%), then follow the educational information, 38 (24,2%) and general comments, 18 (11,4%). CONCLUSION: The use of the list is insufficient. The debate among subscribers should be encouraged to provide a better use of this bridge of communication.
