CABRERA CORTES, Irilia A. El procesamiento humano de la información: en busca de una explicación. []. , 11, 6, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1024-9435.

The human processing of information is explained through different approaches: computarized and psychological. A brief outline of the historical course of theories on information processing was carried out. We tried to find the answers of some questions such as: can information be regarded as knowledge? or if it is not so, how information can turn into knowledge? Two dimensions of knowledge: implied and implicit as well as the five qualitative levels of informational reality where the firt place is occupied by conscience, only inherent to human beings were exposed. The ability to "pay atention" and learn gave men the supremacy in information processing. The close connection among several sciences such as: psychology, information sciences, cibernetics and other is needed to step fordward in the understanding of human information processing.
