Knowing that the Isla de la Juventud is a vulnerable territory the tropical hurricanes, it is presented the study carried out for the reduction of disasters in the electric system, using GIS, like tool for the integral analysis, introducing advantages to the being able to incorporate and manage great quantity of information, propitiating the early calculation the possible in lost economic. The study of reduction of disasters allows through page web to be linked to the system of Meteorology, being able to give pursuit to the hurricanes it threaten the territory. In the work a presentation of the municipality is made, in its geographical-energy environment that serves from help to trace a strategy in the confrontation of a hurricane, with the objective of guaranteeing the stability of the electric service, in the stages of the lash of the phenomenon. The results are shown in integral maps, necessary to taking of decisions.
