La investigación indagó sobre el papel de cuatro emisoras comunitarias del departamento del Cauca Colombia en la promoción del derecho a la paz para las zonas rurales, históricamente afectadas por el conflicto armado: Contacto Stereo, Patía Stereo, Radio Pa’yumat y Libertad Stereo (las dos últimas de carácter indígena). Este sentido, resultó pertinente estudiar e indagar cuál ha sido, es y será su función en un escenario del posacuerdo logrado con las FARC. Investigación cualitativa, la cual recurrió a instrumentos como entrevistas, encuestas, Indicador de la Rentabilidad Social en Comunicación (IRSCOM), grupos focales y observación in situ para conocer la situación de las emisoras.

En los resultados se pudo comprobar que la cultura de paz y su respectiva promoción en las emisoras comunitarias, se ha venido construyendo en comunidad, a través de programas radiales desde mucho antes de que se empezara a construir el Acuerdo de Paz.

The investigation investigated the role of four community radio stations in the department of Cauca Colombia in promoting the right to peace for rural areas historically affected by the armed conflict: Contacto Stereo, Patía Stereo, Radio Pa'yumat and Libertad Stereo (las last two of indigenous character). This sense, it was pertinent to study and investigate what has been, is and will be its role in a scenario of the post-agreement achieved with the FARC. Qualitative research, which used instruments such as interviews, surveys, Indicator of Social Profitability in Communication (IRSCOM), focus groups and on-site observation to find out the situation of the stations. The results showed that the culture of peace and its respective promotion on community radio stations has been building in community, through radio programs since long before the Peace Agreement began to be built.
