Abstract

Background: kidney cells carcinoma therapy is characterized by a poor response to adjuvant treatment. Objective: to improve the free disease interval; global survive and quality of life. Clinical Case: a sixty three- year-old patient with a right kidney carcinoma was operated in August 1998. In May, 2002 he was diagnosed with abdominal adenopathies. On November, 2002 he was operated again because ofdrenal metastases. On December, 2006 he began combined immunotherapy obtaining a complete response of him for the time being. Conclusions: combined immunotherapy can be effective in the management of this type of tumor.
