Abstract

Coronary bypass surgery is frequently performed in the country in those patients with diabetes mellitus to improve their quality of life, but it has peroperative complications, since many of those affected seek a specialist when their disease has progressed, which causes damages in other organ systems, a diffuse coronary artery condition and decompensation of the underlying disease. Therefore, it is necessary to know the magnitude of the problem faced and the action to minimize complications.
