SUROS REYES, Esther María; MORALES GONZALEZ, Silvia María y LEZCANO NEYRA, Carlos Enrique. Design of virtual assessment in master's programs in times of pandemic. UH [online]. 2022, n.295 Epub 01-Dic-2022. ISSN 0253-9276.
The Ministry of Higher Education in Cuba (MES), has made the National Accreditation Board (JAN) responsible for evaluating and accrediting academic postgraduate programs. The 2030 Agenda and the sustainable development goals imply high levels of commitment from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in order to achieve higher levels of quality. The external evaluation of master's programs is based on a demanding legal basis and the management of a large amount of information that is generated from the different processes that are carried out in university institutions. The present work has proposed to design a space to make the management of the external evaluation process of master's programs more effective and efficient in the current conditions by Covid-19, taking into account the added values offered by the assembly of a platform online to continue the external evaluation processes. The results obtained show the responsibility, commitment and participation of the academic committees and the directors of the HEIs in the virtual-online evaluation of the programs evaluated in the years 2020 and 2021.
