This paper is aimed at knowing views held by professors and students of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics at the Technical University of Manabi on monitoring the progress of graduates. It was found, among other things that the university community had limited knowledge of this subject, and the Executive agreed that properly monitoring the progress of graduates is a process that should be based on unconnected procedures. Aspects to be taken into consideration were as follows -professional training, adaptability on the job, appropriate or inappropriate working conditions, legislation on industrial relations, training for satisfying world of work requirements and job competencies.
