The article aims to make an analysis of the components of the teaching-learning process of law and its meaning in the preparation and training of the cadres and officials of State and Government in Cuba at the present time. Important categories of the didactics are systematized and proposals are made to improve the process in the legal preparation of the public administration managers. There were determined the theoretical-methodological foundations of the teaching and learning of law, related to its process character and the interrelation among its components. Important categories of the didactics of law in general were defined and contextualized to the teaching-learning process in the preparation of public officials.
