The aim of this study is to determine the level of perception of the Balanced Scorecard among employees of a private university in Lima, 2020. From the methodological perspective, this research is carried out with a quantitative approach. The type of research is basic with a descriptive design. The sample was random and 99 employees of a private university in Lima were considered. The instrument used was an adapted one. The data collected were analysed using the SPSS statistical programme. Conclusions: The results of the study show a high perception of the Balance Scorecard among the employees of a private university. In other words, most of them consider that there is a good strategic vision of the institution's management.
