MERA ORTIZ, Walter y TRELLES RODRIGUEZ, Irene. Experiences on the contributions of CEPES in the doctoral training of professors at the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil: a look from its protagonists. Rev. Cubana Edu. Superior [online]. 2022, vol.41, suppl.1 Epub 20-Jun-2022. ISSN 0257-4314.
The doctoral training of university professors is a requirement in the contemporary world because the research experience that is incorporated in this type of training enriches the functional processes and is even considered as an indicator in evaluation and accreditation processes. But not all professors who enter doctoral programs have the required research skills, especially this is evident in our university faculty in Latin America. Hence the need to design support strategies based on collaborative group work and support from the tutor, as they constitute two factors that enhance the possibility of successfully completing doctoral training. In this article some experiences are presented, in this sense, about the doctoral training of professors of the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil in the Center of Studies for the Improvement of Higher Education of the University of Havana.
