Awarness for integral care of health interdisciplinary staff in patient presenting with terminal cancer, has increased because of significant advances in treatment of patients carriers of malignant neoplasms. Patient and his family need a careful care, thus, it is necessary to work with properly trained nurses in integral care for these patients. Thar is why we made a transversal descriptive study from January to July 2005 in National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology on Nursing care of patient presenting with terminal cancer, considering that they have physical, spiritual, and emotional needs, being one of the more difficult Nursing practice. From a sample of 196 nurses a sample of l80 nurses was choiced, which were interviewed as to the interest variables for sltudy. As result, it was eivident that 57,6% of staff not to know all psychic disorders presented by patients, there were deficiencies in patient-physician relationship, atributable to impotence in face of problems of non-possible solution by nurses and pity feelings, something not allows to maintain balance in patient-family -staff relationship. Results are in showed in statitistical tables.
