A pediatric patient that after undergoing multiple femoral catheterisms presented pain in the right hip and was initially treated in another medical center as a hip synovitis is presented. The studies conducted at the “Frank País” International Scientific Orthopedic Complex that allowed to make the diagnosis of a metaphyseal traumatic cupping of the right hip are shown.
