MARTINEZ, B; GONZALEZ, E y INFANTE, Danay. New evidences of antagonistic action of Trichoderma asperellum SAMUELS. Rev. Protección Veg. [online]. 2011, vol.26, n.2, pp. 131-132. ISSN 1010-2752.
Applications of Trichoderma asperellum Samuels strain T.13 from the Mycological Collection of the Centro Nacional de Sanidad Agropecuaria (CENSA) in protected crops to control of Passalora fulva (Cooke) U. Braun & Crous (Syn. Cladosporium fulvum Cooke), causal agent of the leaf mold on tomato, and of Pseudoperonospora cubensis (Berkeley et Curtis) Rostovzew, a pathogen that produces downy mildew on cucumber crop, showed a high effectiveness in reducing the affected area by the pathogens and the parasitism of conidiophores in P. cubensis. These results endorse the use of this biological control agent in order to diminish the damage caused by these diseases on tomato and cucumber crops under this condition.
