An explicative longitudinal study was carried out with the aim of knowing the effectiveness of the ear acupuncture in the treatment of bronchial asthma, during the intercrisis with patients belonging to the Health Clinic of the Family Physician No 35 from the East Area Communitary. The sample was composed of the 30 patients to whom a survey was applied. The medical record was individual and the survey was the primary register. The main results were the effectiveness obtained from a 90 %. There was a lengthening out of the intercrisis period and a marked reduction in the drug intake. It is a beneficial treatment for the asthmatic patients; patients manifestations of the technique applied.
