An interventionist study in children from two Family Physician health clinics of the West area of Camagüey city was carried out with the aim of increasing the quality of primary state of the pediatric population. The universe was composed of 190 children who were surveyed and interconsulted, the 69 % was affected by malocclusions and out of them, the 45, 03 % required primary care treatment, deformant oral habits were found in a considerable number. Twenty seven children received active treatment in whom neuromuscular dysfunction and augmented protuberance prevailed. Seven discharges were obtained and the severity of disorders of patients still under treatment decreased. It was achieved a favorable change in the health state ofpopulation with significant difference.
