Main characteristics of the tissular factor and its participation in the beginning of coagulation during endotoxemia were analyzed. Physicopathologic and therapeutic role of protein C System in the modulation of coagulation and of the inflammatory response during disseminated intravascular coagulation for sepsis was reviewed; finally, the role of cytokines and fibrinolysis in the apparition and evolution of the disseminated intravascular coagulation picture was examinated in details, as well as the possible therapeutic targest within mechanisms that were studied; since at present there aren't guidelines of standarized treatment, added to the struggle against base disease.
