The relationship between the antimicrobial resistance in food generated bacteria among humans, has been reported in countless studies, specially those referring to Salmonella. With the purpose to know the antimicrobial sensitivity in isolated food strains, we discovered the antimicrobial ressistance to eleven antibiotics by disc diffussion methods. Sixty three strains were studied, all of them coming from provinces and from the Food , Nourish and Hygiene Institute. We found ressistance to Ampicillina (19,0%), Tetraciclina (12,7%), and Carbenicilina ( 11,1%). The ressistance patterns were determined by the WHONET 5.2 program, in which we included strains with intermediate resistance, showing 11 different profiles. The most frequent are of one, two and even four different antibiotics, which indicates the presence of multiressistance. All of this makes it necessary to widen up the study and to introduce susceptibility methods to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration and detection of possible strains with a widen up spectrum of betalactamase.
