In this article a didactic conception of civics as an educational dimension was analyzed from the perspective of developmental learning. Correspondingly, the dialectical interconnection of methods, contents and evaluation was conceived in order to form modes of action in different educational contexts. Empirical and theoretical methods were used to evaluate the realization of a didactic conception in the teaching-learning process of the Marxism-Leninism discipline, taking into account its theoretical-methodological potentialities. This makes it possible to enhance professional modes of action as an expression of citizenship. The exploratory study revealed the need of accomplishing new structures that connote the importance of civics as an educational dimension from the interaction of civic contents, the methods that allow its revitalization, as well as evaluation as an educational component with a developmental approach.
