CONGO MALDONADO, Rubén; BASTIDAS AMADOR, Gabriela y SANTIESTEBAN SANTOS, Isabel. SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON THE RELATION THOUGHT - LANGUAGE. Conrado [online]. 2018, vol.14, n.61, pp. 155-160. ISSN 1990-8644.
In modern psychology, thought and language are controversial categories and are the object of analysis by internationally renowned authors, among them Jean Piaget, L. S. Vygotsky, J. S. Bruner and A. R. Luria, who despite the differences in his conceptions reveal a close relationship between them. In this paper an analysis is made from the theoretical approaches of these authors regarding how these categories are related and their influence on the development of the individual. It is concluded that the thought - language categories, it is not possible to separate them; their relationship is genetically variable; its evolution is neither parallel nor uniform; they come together, separate, intersect repeatedly, line up in parallel, even merge and immediately divide at some point. It is agreed in the theoretical approaches when it is stated that the child in the process of language acquisition requires the interaction of cognitive bases such as inheritance, maturation, experience and especially social interaction, essential aspects to work for the development of the individual as a social being.
