Objective:
This paper aims at devising a theoretical framework as an alternative for the continuing education of executives to improve the professional performance of the Rector, Deputy Rector, Deans, Principals and other officials at National University San Antonio Abbot (UNSAAC) in Cusco, Peru. The continuing education of university authorities is a priority of the country, according to the current university law (República de Perú. 2014).
Methods:
The authors follow a mixed approach of a descriptive, explanatory non-experimental nature integrating qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques, together with interpretative qualitative paradigmatic elements for understanding and interpreting the actual performance of university officials.
Results:
The author main finding was to devise a theoretical framework outlining the structure as an alternative for educating executives at National University San Antonio Abbot in Cusco.
Conclusion:
The education of university executives is decisive for the environmental, cultural and socio-economic development of society, this need is expressed in several areas and contexts that confirms the relevance of the research herein presented.
