Objective:

This article aims to build a theoretical framework to determine the premises for the permanent training of Party cadres in Camagüey. This Process has been little studied.

Methods:

The authors used the methods of analysis of documents and articles written by specialists that favored the search for criteria and knowledge about permanent training. On the other hand, in the systematization of the information, methods like the theoretical analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction were applied.

Results:

The carried out study allowed revealing the premises for the permanent formation of Party leaders, based on the examination of the different studies and authors that have approached it, and propose a concept of such premises contextualized to the demands and specificities of the cadres of the Party.

Conclusions:

The systematization of the theoretical foundations of the permanent training of the Communist Party of Cuba leaders requires taking into consideration these premises in order to make it more individualized and contextualized.
