Objective:

To devise the scientific-professional axes of performance of university students from the perspective of the research approach.

Methods:

The authors rely on the analysis of contents, experience systematization, and modelling for constructing the reference framework and the scientific-professional axes of performance of university students.

Results:

The main finding is the identification of the above mentioned scientific-professional axes of performance of university students in scientific research activity, taking into consideration both their socio-cultural character, and their role in interpreting, arguing, and finding solution to professional problems in teams.

Conclusions:

The scientific-professional axes of performance of university students focus on pertinence and high-quality standards in the formative process, promoting students’ dedication and efforts to satisfy social, economic, technological and environmental requirements.
