VARGAS BATIS, Belyani; PUPO BLANCO, Yoannia Gretel y PUERTAS AREAS, Ana Leonor. Insect diversity associated with Cleome Viscosa L in agricultural ecosistems and their relationship to agricultural crops. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2015, vol.7, n.1, pp. 30-38. ISSN 2218-3620.
The work was developed with the objective of identifying insect diversity associated with Cleome viscose in agroecosystems and their relationship to agricultural crops. They were established three study areas where sampling was conducted following the direct method technique as you count for common habitat. Were identified 15 insect species which include some that act as biological control of insect pests, which realizes low insect diversity with predominance of rare species. Low values assumed by the association and ecological indexs subordination demonstrate the dominance of a specific insect fauna of the plant studied. It is recommended to use the results of this study based on the design of strategies which are designed to the sustainable management of this plant species in agroecosystems.
