Higher Education Institutions have shown in recent decades an increasing concern for greater efficiency in management. They should work to solve the challenges that arise from internal and external demands, so that they move towards a more prosperous, just and fraternal society. The objective of this work is presenting an overview on the challenges higher education institutions face in the area of management.
