MADRUGA TORREIRA, Esperanza Andrea; ALVAREZ GONZALEZ, Arelys Rebeca y NUNEZ SOBRINO, Dulce María. The creative genetic rapprochement in the analysis of Ode to the Niagara: Didactic reflections on the rescue of a method. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2015, vol.7, n.2, pp. 173-186. ISSN 2218-3620.
No instrumental subjects providing contributions to the knowledge about the foundations for the analysis of language resources, the literary theory or the methodologies for the analysis of a literary work, are planned in the Socio-cultural Major curriculum. Thus, there is a need for the lessons of Literature to offer students with scientific-literary methods so that they can deepen in the study of literary works at the same time they develop motivation towards reading and its promotion. The aim of the current article is to show how it is possible to depend in reading and reading comprehension of texts of different nature through the creative genetic rapprochement contributed by Luir Bórev in his modern methods for literary analysis; specially for poetry analysis as shown in the creative genetic analysis of "Ode to the Niagara" by the Cuban poet José María Heredia.
