AVELLO MARTINEZ, Raidell; RODRIGUEZ MUNOZ, Raúl y DUENAS FIGUEREDO, Jorge Osmani. EXPERIENCE WITH MOODLE AND WEB 2.0 TOOLS IN POSTGRADUATE. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2016, vol.8, n.4, pp. 58-64. ISSN 2218-3620.
Virtual learning environments and virtual classrooms as Blackboard, WebCT and Moodle seem to be within their limits and are beginning to complement and extend to other tools for collaborative highly developed networking as those that constitute the web 2.0 framework. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to describe an experience of using two web 2.0 tools (Scoop.it and Diigo) to supplement MOODLE in a postgraduate course in the b-learning form at the University of Cienfuegos. Both selected tools which are in the category of content management and curation, have great potentials for filtering, tagging and sharing information on courses of all levels. The experience was positive in the student’s opinions. They allege the possibility of shearing resources found in their search and which are considered of common interest for the group. Furthermore, it is possible to add keywords, "bookmark" and comments to the information shared, which is an added value to these resources and which are later visited by others with previous critical analysis of participants.
