Reflections on teaching processes renewal are increasingly oriented to make explicit ways of achieving a responsible social learning which allows optimizing scenarios for university and society connection. From this curricular conception, a change of the didactic models is necessary, now oriented to participation in transforming the socio economic reality. They intertwined and delineated as essential directions. These ideas provide a framework to expose authors’ ideas from the experience of curricular redesign and teaching in the Tourism career in Ecuador. Patterns of change are described in the paper; these can give shape to a Didactic Proposal which should be assumed by all subjects, with a framework which legitimizes the participation and integration of pre teaching activities of the professional practice and the relationship with the society.
