This essay is the outcome on a theoretical systematization based on the issue of organizational culture and its link to participation and appreciative inquiring. Its constitutes an approximation to the construction of a referent that integrates these concepts, in the effort to think for the change of traditional paradigms, in the conception and approach of working organizations, starting from organizational culture. To talk about appreciative inquiring and organizational participation for the construction of positive participation cultures does not suppose a straitjacket, it is not even an ideal methodological referent. It is like all ways to achieving a goal, full of imperfections, obstacles, especially when it comes to human subjectivity, due to its diversity and complexity. However, this is a reflection worth to be taken into consideration in a time when the humankind become more individualist, less critic to its everyday life, involved in a surviving, not only economical but also spiritual. Within this scenario, working organizations constitute a vital space to look for sense and self-fulfillment so it is necessary to create strategies to contribute to the wellbeing and satisfaction of workers, while upgrading efficiency levels and profitability of the organizations.
