The objective of this work is to characterize the Ecuadorian environmental management, with the goal of promoting the knowledge about the negative impacts on the inhabitants, the nature and its diverse ecosystems, that are being generated by the new lifestyle of the population. It is also analyzed, the probable alternatives of solution and adaptation that could help to sensitize the communities to overcome crisis stages. It is evidenced few knowledge and management of information on environmental issues, ignorance of its causes, consequences and the scarce application of actions and measurements to adapt itself and to mitigate it. Methodologically, the author reflects from the perspective of the Sciences of Education, linking Science and Technology with the environmental problems. Among the main conclusions, it is appreciated that the adoption of educational practices of environmental management is positively related to the performance of students, demonstrating in the participants, a change of attitude due to the acquired knowledge. The understanding of the serious problems causes in the environment and in the health of the living things, the disposition and interest to apply measurements and to develop actions in favor of the climate. In its Institutional Mission, the majority of Educational Organizations declare that they must form competent and socially responsible professionals. This mission is of high commitment and social maturity and it can be the basis for the development of an environmental education with social responsibility, founded on citizens, ethical and moral values, which promote high social considerations in the students.
