The objective of this research is to expose the functionalities of the different value-added products and services offered by the Coronavirus Metric Observatory that allow science to be linked from different perspectives and lines of action. The research applied theoretical and empirical level methods for the review, understanding, modeling and analysis of the topic. A set of results was obtained that showed the different functionalities of the Observatory to support the documentation of decisions during scientific investigations, as well as strategic, operational and functional. The Observatory provides a dynamic platform that significantly reduces the search, processing, analysis and interpretation times for relevant information of a different nature. The Coronavirus Metric Observatory is an initiative that contributes to linking the Academy with different research and productive sectors in the country, driven by the interests and priorities of the Government at the service of the entire Society.
