This work analyzes the usage of Office 365 tools for educational porpuses, specifically in the area of ​​foreign language teaching, focusing on the context of higher education in Ecuador. Its objective is the development of an English manual that enhances the integration of Office 365 in the language teaching. This analysis includes a characterization of the main tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams, as well as some additional functions for the classroom. During its development various documentary research techniques such as text analysis, thesis and documentary documentation of office tools were applied. The manual proposal was developed in order to solve the insufficiencies that exist in the dissemination of content and enhance collaborative work so that teachers are able to exploit the basic knowledge about the tools before acting as competent professionals in this hypertextualized society.
