Based on Guideline 98 of the economic and social policy of the Party and the Revolution, where the National Medicines Program is defined as one of the main objectives of the country, as well as the efficiency and control of pharmaceutical services, the "Digital Transformation of Pharmaceutical Services in Cuba" project is launched. Among its priorities, the Ministry of Public Health promotes the development of computerization in the health sector. Within the framework of this project, the development of a national drug consultation system is conceived, which aims to show the population the main information about the country's pharmaceutical services through geolocation, the consultation of the amount of drugs available in pharmacies, the visualization of the national drug formulary, among other functionalities that will make it possible to reduce the access time for citizens to obtain medicines and provide information on Cuban pharmaceutical services. The most relevant result of this research was the design of the "National platform for drug consultation", which is currently in the development stage.
