The work shows the main gaps presented by the current employment policy to promote gender equity. It addresses the main trends in this aspect of the current Latin American and Caribbean context and its effects on the world of work. Discuss the possibilities of achieving non-precarious jobs with the current diversity of jobs that call into question the classic vision of employment. He comments, through case studies in Plaza de la Revolución and Artemisa, the diversity of existing works as a sign of the heterogenization of Cuban society as well as the existence of vulnerable groups. Key elements are concluded with a group to take into account from social policies and in particular, employment policies to mitigate or eliminate conditions that, from the legal and institutional framework, general social vulnerability and gender inequality.
