Resumen

BANOS, Heyker L et al. Evaluación del efecto de bioestimulantes sobre la brotación de Murraya paniculata L. antes y después de la poda. cultrop [online]. 2009, vol.30, n.3, pp. 36-39. ISSN 0258-5936.

Murraya paniculata species is used as a host plant in the mass rearing of Diaphorina citri. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different concentrations of Liplant, Fitomas-E®, indolacetic acid (AIA) and indolbutiric acid (AIB) on the behavior of M. paniculata bud sprouting before and after pruning, to continue a previous work. At the beginning of this experiment, height and bud amount were measured in six-month-old plants; later on, the first pruning was performed and products were then applied. After several prunings, bud amount and sprouting performance were determined. The highest bud sprouting stimulations were achieved by applying Fitomas-E® at 0.5 mg.L-1, indolbutiric acid at 0,5 and 1 mg.L-1 and Liplant at 0,4 mg.L-1.The use of these products along with systematic prunings induce a greater bud sprouting in M. paniculata plants

Palabras clave : Murraya paniculata; plant growth stimulants; sprouting; pruning.
