Resumen

TERRY ALFONSO, Elein et al. RESPUESTA DEL CULTIVO DE LA LECHUGA (Lactuca sativa L.) A LA APLICACIÓN DE DIFERENTES PRODUCTOS BIOACTIVOS. cultrop [online]. 2011, vol.32, n.1, pp. 28-37. ISSN 0258-5936.

The present work was developed in the experimental area of the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA), with the objective of evaluating lettuce crop response to the application of different bioactive products. To fulfil these purposes, several treatments were studied that consisted of applying the following products: Pectimorf® (344 mg.ha-1), Liplant® (1 L.ha-1) and Biobras-16® (20 mg.ha-1), compared with a control without application. The evaluations were performed referring to some crop growth and development variables, such as leaf length and width as well as NPK leaf content; also agricultural yield was determined at the end of the vegetative cycle. Results showed the effectiveness of bioactive products on crop growth, development and yield, standing out the treatments of plant leaves sprayed by Pectimorf® and Biobras-16®, with significant differences compared to the treatment of Liplant applications and the control, which enabled to obtain higher yields, so proving their contribution to the agricultural production of this crop.
