Academic international relations are a vital vehicle to promote development and universal education in contemporary world. The notions of institutional integration and their impact on the three essential processes: Teaching, Research and Graduate Studies and University Extension. The study of management control models and supporting methodologies lead to process management and contribute to their success. This paper aims at the analysis of various models of management control, in addition to the design of a tool for measuring the level of integration of the research process and internationalization (NINV & int) at the The Higher Polytechnic Institute "José Antonio Echeverría" (CUJAE). Different methods and techniques were used, within the theoretical methods: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction; expert´s consultation and statistical methods were found in the empire method
