DIAZ-LEYVA, Claudia de los A.; MARRERO-FORNARIS, Clara y VEGA-DE LA CRUZ, Leudis Orlando. Impact of human resource training in a Cuban hotel entity. Ing. Ind. [online]. 2022, vol.43, n.1, pp. 22-36. Epub 17-Feb-2022. ISSN 1815-5936.
The objective of this research was to evaluate the impact of the training of human resources in a hotel entity of the Tourist Pole of Holguín in Cuba. It was conceived under the methodological guidelines to evaluate the impact of training from the interrelation of different evaluation modalities on the basis of international trends and a group of indicators to measure the behavior of the training process. The results show the status of tourism human resource training through impact indicators and identify the main limitations of the training process for which improvement actions were projected. The evaluation regarding learning, knowledge transfer and organizational results showed that the trained workers learned and developed skills and competencies that, once applied to their jobs, positively influenced the results of the organization in the period studied.
