The problems present in Cuban education require solutions with a more comprehensive and multifaceted approach, which require curricular modifications, hence the Third Improvement of the National Education System. It is considered as fundamental the preparation that Preschool students should receive in the Dimension of Education and Communication Development since language is an instrument for the acquisition of content and appropriation of the historical-cultural experience. The purpose of this study is to implement training actions for the teacher in early childhood education, in aspects related to this dimension proposed by the curriculum in improvement. These actions are developed based on the new contents that the curricular design proposes for the dimension and that are related to the teaching of the English language and the use of the signs and symbols by children.
