The playground at the preschool age, establishes an open and natural language in the child's life; the free expression of feelings and emotions, thus also provides form ties of friendship with their friends and adults that surround it. Leisure activities also facilitate the development of their creative thinking since it allows the relationship with different situations and materials that the infant has at its disposal. From this perspective, it inquired about the importance of games in the development of creativity of the children of the initial level of the school Benjamín Carrión. Framed in a design field, descriptive level, quantitative approach. The population was 25 kindergarten children, 8 teachers of the level and 25 parents who are part of the educational community. The technique of gathering was the interview, the instrument was a questionnaire of multiple alternatives, and a sheet of observation. Based on the obtained results, it is projected to raise awareness among the different educational agents that are related to the children, depending on care and facilitated spaces, which allow the development of their creativity to the infant, and enable to express all the imagination and fantasy through games, since this is a valuable strategy in the creative development of children at this level.
