The article analyzes the theoretical and practical bases on the inclusion of the priority groups so that they are integrated into society, through the different linking projects offered by the Metropolitan University of Ecuador (UMET), thus being a productive part of the community; by means of the motivation that is offered with respect to community participation in the problems presented by the priority attention groups in order to identify the most common behaviors that have to do with University Social Responsibility (RSU) with society. This mechanism makes the quality management system not only effective in the administrative and financial areas of the institution. To this end, a research was carried out where issues were addressed regarding: the definition, importance and effects of poor attention to the groups considered priority, poor approaches to community work were analyzed and how students interact with these groups causing an impact, because not only used the knowledge they have acquired in the classrooms of the university but the humanistic part that were forged throughout their student career, serving as a reference for their professional training with a social focus.
