The formation of an integral professional is considered as a politics of the Cuban Higher Education. In terms of getting this integral formation, the pedagogical staff of the year is the academic level in which the educative work is totally achieved, taking into account the integration of the different formative agents through the educative strategy in which the principal professor of the year takes part as a guide of the student by using personalized educative actions. The objective of the present research work is to value the influence of Vigotsky´s work in the development of the principal profesor`s role within the pedagogical staff, as one of the theoretical aspects that are necessary for this process.
