The purpose of this article was to determine the relationship between the teaching performance and the academic performance of the students of the Faculty of Technology - 2015. The type of research used is descriptive correlational, the population was formed by the students of the 2011 and 2012 promotions enrolled in the academic semester 2015 I, of the Faculty of Technology. It allowed an analysis of the relationship that exists in teaching performance and academic performance in accordance with pedagogical work as an educational task. The main results obtained show that there is a significant relationship between teaching performance and the academic performance of the students of the 2011 and 2012 promotions of the 2015 I academic year at the Faculty of Technology of the National University of Education "Enrique Guzmán y Valle".
