The University throughout its history has faced the emergence of degree studies, which constitute the closing act of a degree training cycle, which demands the development of investigative skills in research students. The research presented addresses the challenge of interpreting the levels of application of narrative techniques and the rigor of the use of scientific writing in the presentation of scientific results at UNIANDES Quevedo University. For this study, a mixed approach was assumed, using various methods of science, including: the analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, modeling, the systemic, establishing a proactive descriptive scope, by generating a system of procedures for the effective writing of academic and scientific texts, which have been used in the classes of the subjects Work of degree, Degree I and Degree II.
