The need for legal education for a wide range of professionals is unquestionable. The aim of this article is to analyse the similarities and differences between the different forms of law teaching in legal and non-legal science degrees. The classification of law teaching in non-law degrees and the academic teaching of law in the legal sciences seems to be blurred. Understanding and applying law requires making choices, some of which may be more political than legal. According to various authors, in order to understand legal education, it is also necessary to distinguish whether a course of study is intended to prepare students to make legal decisions or not. the ability to make legal decisions is necessary for a professional activity, the teaching of law should be conceived in methodological terms regardless of the form of higher education: namely as legal education. Since the content of teaching depends to a large extent on the results of research, the academic world should strive to create the conditions for it to be carried out in an impartial framework.
